The Canadian International Trade Tribunal announced on May 31 the continuation of its November 2012 finding concerning the dumping of liquid dielectric transformers from the Republic of Korea.

Last December the Canada Border Services Agency had determined that the expiry of the Tribunal’s findings was likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping of the subject goods.

The Tribunal found that a return of the dumping of the subject goods was likely to result in injury to Canadian industry. Anti-dumping duties will continue to apply to imports of these products.
