CANADA-UNITED ARAB EMIRATES AGREEMENT TO PROMOTE TRADE OPPORTUNITIES

CHINA HAS INCREASED TAX REBATES AGAIN

China has increased tax rebates once again. The new rates, effective April 1, 2009, are intended to stimulate exports and maintain growth.

Sectors affected by the changes include textiles, iron and steel, nonferrous metal, petrochemical, electronic information and light industrial products. For textiles and apparel, the tax rebate is 16%, up from 15%.
