Just updated Port authority has suspended all operational activities inside port.

In such circumstances, Feeder vessels arrival and sailing may differ subject to weather condition. Currently 05 feeders are in CGP port and onward connection may affect subject to sailing and arrival at Transshipment port which cannot be predicted this moment, also onward feeder’s arrival and sailing may affect mother vsl connection.
Danger signal ‘7’ for “Mahasen” in Chittagong
Authorities on Wednesday morning asked to hoist danger signal `7` on the stretch of Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar in wake of approaching cyclone ‘Mahasen’ now said to be less than 1000 kilometers off Bangladesh coast. In a Bangladesh Meteorological Department bulletin, coastal districts, Chittagong Port and their offshore islands were advised to hoist danger signal ‘7’.
In view of the above weather condition, CPA has asked for Alert-3, which means Chittagong Port has stopped all of her operation and all vessels are asked to vacate her berth by 1300 hrs. today.
CPA has also cancelled all inward vessel movements for today.
