TRUCKING STRIKE IN INDIA CALLED OFF

The government of India has exempted truckers from payment of a 12.5% service tax on supply of vehicles to goods transport agencies.

As a result, the All India Motor Transport Congress has called off their nationwide strike planned for July 2.
