An important update regarding CMA CGM service into Halifax.

We would like to inform you of an important update regarding CMA CGM service into Halifax.

Under the Ocean Alliance structure (COSCO, OOCL, and Evergreen), all Halifax sailings are currently operated on CMA CGM vessels.

According to the latest rotation, the APL Esplanade—which will be the final vessel departing Chittagong destined for Halifax—will also be the last scheduled vessel calling Halifax.

Following this sailing, service to Halifax will be suspended until further notice.

Alternative routings are currently being assessed. Cargo may be redirected via New York with inland transport to Canada, or via a West Coast gateway.

Please note that the New York option remains under review, pending final alignment with CMA CGM, which manages that vessel rotation.

Other East Coast alternatives (MSC or Hapag) have also been evaluated; however, extended transit times exceeding 72 days, along with reliability concerns, significantly limit their viability at this time.

We will continue to closely monitor carrier developments and will provide updated schedules, routing guidance, and rates as soon as they become available.

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you would like to discuss further..
