Tribunal maintains injury finding on aluminum extrusions from China.

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) announced that it continued, with amendment, its order made in January 2020, concerning the dumping and subsidizing of certain aluminum extrusions, originating in or exported from China.

The Tribunal found that the expiry of the order was likely to result in injury to Canadian industry. As such, the Tribunal continued its order.

Back in April the Canada Border Services Agency had determined that the expiry of the order was is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping and subsidizing.

Following the Tribunal's decision to continue it's order the Canada Border Services Agency will therefore continue to impose anti-dumping and countervailing duties on this product.
