Tribunal maintains injury finding on copper tube from five countries.

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) announced that it continued its orders made in September 2019 concerning the dumping of circular copper tube from Brazil, Greece, China, South Korea and Mexico, and the subsidizing of these goods from China.

The Tribunal found that the expiry of the orders was likely to result in injury to Canadian industry. As such, the Tribunal continued its orders.

Back in January 2025 the Canada Border Services Agency had determined that the expiry of the order was is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping and subsidizing.

Following the Tribunal's decision to continue it's order the Canada Border Services Agency will therefore continue to impose anti-dumping and countervailing duties on this product.
