U.S. Commission says imports of corrosion-resistant steel products from Canada injure U.S. industry.

The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) announced that it determined that a U.S. industry is materially injured by reason of imports of corrosion-resistant steel products from Canada, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, Netherlands, South Africa, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam that the U.S. Department of Commerce has determined are sold in the United States at less than fair value and subsidized by the governments of Brazil, Canada, Mexico, and Vietnam

As a result of the Commission's affirmative determinations, Commerce will issue antidumping duty orders and countervailing duty orders on imports of these products from Australia, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Netherlands, South Africa, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam.

The USITC and Department of Commerce investigations were in response to petitions filed by or on behalf of American manufacturers.
